Tad Schwartzhoff: July People Powers Award Winner

Congratulations to Water and Waste Specialist III Tad Schwartzhoff for earning the July People Powers award! Tad was nominated by Water and Waste Specialist III Brian Kalvelage for acting with a Lead by Example mindset.

In his justification, Brian shared how Tad showed exemplary leadership and initiative in discovering and responding to the Service Center spill on June 16. "In my absence, Tad stepped up and made quick decisions to mitigate the spilled hydraulic oil and make the difficult reporting calls to the state and federal governments," said Brian. He went on to highlight Tad's "top-notch work" in coordinating personnel and clean-up materials, completion of the necessary forms, reporting and follow-ups.
