Negative Declaration

St Lawrence County - The Town of Colton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Colton Code Amendments will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed update to a previously adopted comprehensive local law to regulate solar energy, an amendment to Part II - General Legislation, Chapter 105 Land Use, Attachment 4, Appendix D, Definitions adding a definition for Cannabis Dispensary, and an amendment to Part II - General Legislation, Chapter 105 Land Use, Attachment 6 Zoning District Table specific to Solar Facilities and Cannabis Dispensaries. The project is located throughout the Town of Colton, New York.
