Moulton Statement on the Anniversary of the October 7th Attack on Israel

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congressman Seth Moulton issued the following statement on one year anniversary of the October 7th attack on Israel:

"October 7th is a tragic anniversary in the history of Israel, of anti-Semitism, and the history of humanity. One year ago, 1,200 innocent men, women, and children were murdered in unspeakably cruel ways, and 251 more were taken hostage.

Today, almost 100 hostages still languish in Gaza - including four Americans - while their families spend every waking moment anxiously awaiting any news. As Jews mark the High Holidays, I am proud to stand in solidarity with the families of the hostages and with all the Jewish families around the world who face renewed persecution because of their faith.

The world is more polarized about the Middle East than a year ago, but that should not discourage those fighting for peace. Now more than ever, Israeli and Palestinian children deserve leaders who are committed to delivering a brighter future."
