Pueblo Police Department Makes Arrest in the City's 18th Homicide

Pueblo, CO― On Sunday, November 24, 2024, at approximately 5:35 p.m. Pueblo Police responded to the 3100 block of Bonaventure Ct. on the report of a deceased male.

Officers arrived on scene and initiated an investigation, requesting the assistance of the Pueblo Police Department's Special Victims Unit. Crime Scene Investigations detectives processed the scene for evidence. A suspect was subsequently interviewed and arrested on the charge of 2^nd Degree Murder. The deceased victim will be identified by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.

This is the City's 18^th official homicide in 2024. Pueblo Police are actively investigating an additional suspicious death that occurred in September of this year that has not been deemed a homicide at this time.
