DALLAS - When husband and wife, Pere Valls and Laura Moreno, traveled from Spain to teach in the U.S., they brought global expertise to Chapel Hill Preparatory School, made possible through the Teacher Exchange Program. The exchange allows them to culturally immerse their children in the same school where they teach. Though the Valls plan to return to Spain in three years, they cherish the opportunity to share this global experience as a family.

Schools enjoy a fall break
All schools will be closed tomorrow, Oct. 10, and Friday, Oct. 11, as part of Dallas ISD's fall break for students and campus staff. Teachers return for professional development on Monday, Oct. 14. Students will resume classes Tuesday, Oct. 15.
