Carter statement on shooting at Barrow County high school

SAVANNAH - Rep. Earl L. "Buddy" Carter (R-GA) released the following statement today after a school shooting at Apalachee High School in Barrow County, GA reported multiple injuries and fatalities:

"I am praying for all of Barrow County today as we mourn the lives lost and those impacted by a senseless, tragic act of violence at Apalachee High School. Thank you to our brave law enforcement agents who responded to the call and were able to apprehend the suspect.

"Every child and educator should be safe in the classroom. Unity, not division, is how we combat those who wish us harm. Together, we are strong."
