One Week Since Bernie Moreno Reiterated Support For National Abortion Ban On National Television

July 23, 2024

Columbus, OH - It's been one week since Bernie Moreno said on national television that "there's some things we can do federally" to ban abortion. This is one out of the four times in the past two weeks Moreno has reiterated his support for a national abortion ban that would overturn the will of Ohio voters.

Moreno has made it clear he would "[leave] the door open" to a national abortion ban if elected, confirmed "he still believes in national legislation" to ban abortion, and affirmed his stance on abortion is "crystal, crystal clear" and "has not changed." Moreno has previously said he is "100% pro-life with no exceptions" and "absolute pro-life, no exceptions."
