Speaker of Parliament of Principality of Andorra hosted in Standing Committee on Foreign Relations

On September 23, the members of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Hripsime Grigoryan and Maria Karapetyan met with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Principality of Andorra Carles Enseñat Reig.

The RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Andorra Sos Avetisyan attended the meeting.

Welcoming the guest, Hripsime Grigoryan highlighted the development of the institutional cooperation between the parliaments of Armenia and Andorra and the effective interaction of the parliamentary delegations in the international organizations The MP underscored the necessity of activation of the relations between the Committee on Foreign Relations of Parliament of Armenia and the Foreign Affairs Committee of Andorra.

Hripsime Grigoryan and Maria Karapetyan spoke about the use of the potential of the interaction and exchange of experience in the educational, economic, mountain skiing spheres.

The Armenian parliamentarians touched upon the RA-EU expanding interaction, presented the efforts of the Armenian side aimed at the establishment of the lasting peace in the region. In this context Maria Karapetyan voiced the Crossroad of peace project drafted by the RA Government.

The Speaker of the Parliament of the Principality of Andorra also highlighted the deepening of cooperation with the legislative body of Armenia, the development of the relation in different spheres. Carles Enseñat Reigexpressed readiness to make efforts in establishing peace in the South Caucasus.
