Following the directives of the President of Ukraine and the Head of the Office of the President, the parties discussed the outcomes of international events dedicated to the points of the Peace Formula concerning energy and food security.

Special attention was given to the preparations for upcoming thematic conferences and the second Peace Summit. The discussion also covered the need to increase the number of countries supporting the Joint Communiqué, especially among representatives of the Global South.

Additionally, the meeting addressed the implementation of the bilateral security agreement signed by the leaders of Ukraine and Japan in June of this year.

"We are grateful to Japan for its unwavering support of Ukraine and its active participation in joint efforts that bring us closer to establishing a just peace. Japan's stance on upholding international law sets a great example," emphasized the Deputy Head of the Office of the President.

Ihor Zhovkva and Katsura Kitagawa agreed on joint steps in preparation for upcoming international events, particularly the session of the UN General Assembly and the organization of specific events on its sidelines.
