City of Boulder to Host Climate Initiatives Community Conversation

The upcoming Climate Initiatives Community Conversation will feature presentations by city staff about the city's latest circular economy initiatives. The goal of the event is to foster a collaborative environment where community members can learn about the city's sustainability goals and how to contribute to them.

A circular economy is a sustainable system that minimizes waste and resource use. It can be achieved through long-lasting design, maintenance, repair, reuse, remanufacturing, refurbishing and recycling. Unlike a traditional linear economy, a circular economy seeks to keep products, materials and resources in use for as long as possible, creating a system that reduces environmental impact and promotes sustainability.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the topic, participate in interactive demonstrations, provide feedback and ask questions. Refreshments will be provided.
