Water Line Work Next Week at Centerville Road Interchange Improvement Project in E. Hempfield Township, Lancaster County

​Nighttime traffic restrictions from WB Route 30 ramps to Hempland Road

Harrisburg, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that the Lancaster City Water Authority plans to perform water line work next week on Centerville Road in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County. This work will occur within the limits of the Centerville Road Interchange Improvement Project. Traffic restrictions will be in place.

Weather permitting, the authority will work from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the night of Monday, July 8 through the night of Thursday, July 11, to replace an existing water main across Centerville Road.

Traffic will be restricted to a single lane with alternating traffic on Centerville Road from the westbound Route 30 ramps to Hempland Road. Traffic signals will be on flash during this time, and flaggers will be direct traffic through the work zone.

Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes as major delays are expected during this work.
