the Water Pollution Control Act

3.Cause of occurrence (Explanation of the event)：The wastewater treatment of our company's Hsinfeng 1 Plant did not 
meet the Effluent Standards, which violated Article 7, Paragraph 1 
of the Water Pollution Control Act, and was punished in accordance 
with Article 40, Paragraph 1.
4.Handling procedure：After an audit by the Hsinchu County Environmental Protection 
Bureau on May 20, 2024, the discharged water was detected to 
be abnormal. The company immediately stopped the discharge 
and returned it for treatment.
5.Status of the injunction by the respective competent authority：Fined and 2 hours of environmental training.
