Reps. John Carson and Ginny Ehrhart to Host Press Conference Opposing Mobility Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax Increase

ATLANTA -State Representatives John Carson (R-Marietta) and Ginny Ehrhart (R-Powder Springs), as well as John Loud of LOUD Security Systems and other Cobb County business leaders, will host a press conference to oppose the proposed Mobility Special Purpose Local Option SalesTax (MSPLOST) increase on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 10 a.m. across from the Cobb-Marietta Transit Center in Marietta, Georgia.

The proposed MSPLOST increase of one percent will be present on ballots for voters in Cobb County during the upcoming election.
