Check dinner rolls off your Thanksgiving meal prep list! The Iowa Culinary Institute® (ici®) Baking and Pastry Arts program at DMACC is currently accepting orders for its Fifth Annual Thanksgiving Dinner Roll Fundraiser, with students in the program ready to prepare delicious, freshly-baked rolls for your Thanksgiving table. Orders may be placed now through 12 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 25, at baking.dmacc.edu.

Last year's fundraiser set a record for total orders, with students preparing approximately 700 dozen - or 8,400 individual - dinner rolls for customers. That impressive tally nearly tripled the fundraiser's previous record of 263 dozen, which was set just one year prior in 2022.

"Students in the DMACC Baking and Pastry Arts program are looking forward to working together on the Thanksgiving Dinner Roll fundraiser again this year," said Chef Ryan Binney, who leads the Baking and Pastry Arts Program at the DMACC Newton Campus. "It's a great group project and proceeds will be used to help cover travel costs for more than two dozen of our students who are planning to attend the 2025 American Culinary Federation (ACF) National Convention next summer in Las Vegas."
