Annual City Showcase will be held on Wednesday, September 9th
The Annual City Showcase will be taking place on Wednesday, September 4th from 5pm to 7pm in the downtown parking lot by restaurant row. This showcase creates an opportunity for people to learn more about our community.
Departments featured include Police, Fire, Parks & Recreation, Public Works, Campbell Library, Economic Development, and Water & Light. Other agencies involved include the Polk County Sheriff's Office, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, the Minnesota Highway Patrol, Polk County Public Health, Altru Health System, Safe Kids, Sanford Health, Riverview Health, and Alluma along with others.
Many of the departments and organizations will have equipment or information on display and there will be other activities including a bouncy house. There will also be a dunk tank. For a donation of $5 or three non-perishable food items a person can have a chance to dunk a local official. All donations will be going to the East Grand Forks Food Shelf.
