E-Resources for Students and Beyond

The Lewiston City Library website has a plethora of online resources available for students of any age. Whether you're K-12, a college student or an adult learner, you can find something on our website to help you achieve your education and career goals. These resources are funded by LiLI (LiLI.org) and are free to any Idaho resident. Just go to https://lewistonlibrary.org/ and click on E-Library at the top to get started. Here are just a few examples of what you can find-

LEARNINGEXPRESS LIBRARY: This resource has everything you or your child could need to improve academic skills (at any school level), prepare for standardized exams including high school equivalency tests, college and high school placement tests, AP exams, and more.

They also have skill reviews for college students, adult learning help, career prep and more. There are also resources for Spanish speakers. They provide interactive tutorials, practice tests, e-books, flashcards and articles for academic skill-building. These award-winning learning tools are available through multiple online platforms designed to help students and professionals achieve their educational and career goals. EXPLORA: An EBSCO platform where you can search for articles and save them to use in research projects. You can organize articles by project in case you're working on more than one. A very handy research tool!

EBSCOhost: A powerful online reference system. It offers a variety of proprietary full text databases and popular databases from leading information providers.

The comprehensive databases range from general reference collections to specially designed, subject-specific databases for public, academic, medical, corporate and school libraries.

You can search many different databases within EBSCOhost. Some popular ones are:
