Today, Dollar General Corporation announced the appointment of two senior vice president roles. Tom Hutchins has joined the Company as senior vice president, technology while Kevin Pinchon has joined as senior vice president, distribution.
Hutchins will oversee the IT Business Integration & Strategy, and IT Operations & Services teams, driving strategic planning and business integration initiatives.

His leadership and knowledge will play a pivotal role in helping DG to continue driving operational excellence, deliver value and ultimately better serve our employees, customers and communities," said Carman Wenkoff, executive vice president and chief information officer.
With more than 25 years of experience in IT and retail at Fortune 500 companies, including Office Depot Inc. and AutoZone Inc., Hutchins brings experience in application development and expertise in crafting business and technology strategies that align with an organization's overarching strategic objectives. He most recently served as vice president of technology and strategy at Tractor Supply Company.
Pinchon will oversee distribution center (DC) strategy and execution for facilities in Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia. Additionally, he will have oversight of DG's DC continuous improvement and quality and process control teams.

A tenured global supply chain leader with more than 20 years of operational expertise, Pinchon previously held roles of increasing responsibility for wholesale and retail companies, including Grainger and Target Corporation. He most recently served as vice president of global supply chain at HD Supply where he oversaw more than 100 shipping points and 80 distribution centers across the country. Pinchon earned his Bachelor of Science in business management from Jacksonville State University.
