Hall County Government will present information about the upcoming Transportation SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) Nov. 5 ballot question at several Hall County locations throughout October.
"The Transportation SPLOST ballot question will be very generic and provide little detail," Hall County Administrator Zach Propes said. "We want to ensure voters are informed before they reach the polls, and attending one of our informational sessions is one of the easiest ways voters can learn about the program."
All presentations are open to the public, free of charge and provide citizens with details on the Transportation SPLOST program and its proposed projects.
"We cover the projects that would be completed using Transportation SPLOST dollars, the breakdown of how funds would be allocated and, most importantly, we offer an opportunity for citizens to ask any questions they may have about the proposed program," Propes said.
