Lt. Governor Jones Attends Georgia Chamber Congressional Luncheon

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, August 8, 2024

ATLANTA |Yesterday, Lt. Governor Burt Jones was honored to attend the Georgia Chamber Congressional Luncheon and to meet with local chambers from across the state.

"Meeting with and supporting all of our local chambers is critical to the overall success of our state," said Lt. Governor Burt Jones. "The Georgia Chamber, along with their local partners, are the boots on the ground that keep Georgia the best place to start or build a business. I look forward to continuing to work with our local chambers across the state to promote business growth, increase Georgia's workforce and to solidify Georgia's standing as the number one place in the nation to do business."

There are over 100 local chambers of commerce in Georgia. Together, they represent more than 50,000 small businesses and their membership is made up of business leaders in the local community. The members work with the state and other key stakeholders to advance the interests and economic growth of the local communities they represent.
