Lincoln Woods Barracks

On Monday June 17, at 4:32 PM, Troopers arrested Aman Soni, age 31, for two (2) counts of Simple Assault and/or Battery. The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to Sixth Division District Court for reports of an assault. Soni was transported to Roger Williams Hospital where he was later transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Canter pending arraignment at Sixth District Court on Friday, June 21, 2024.

On Monday June 17, at 8:59 PM, Troopers arrested Tony Jean, age 31, of 49 Whipple Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs - B.A.C Uknown - First Offense and 2) Refusal to Submit a Chemical Test - First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 146 in the Town of Lincoln. Jean was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
