Saint Francis University DPT Class of 2024 achieves 100% first-time pass rate on NPTE

Saint Francis University's Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Class of 2024 has achieved a 100% first-time pass rate on the NPTE, the national licensing exam for physical therapists.

The SFU Physical Therapy Department would like to congratulate the following students on this prestigious achievement:

Nicole Adams, Austin Andreyo, Dylan Appleman, Brian Bernard, Abigail Bettwy, Taylor Butterbaugh, Autumn Creighton, Cora Emory, Caroline Gillespie, Elizabeth Gordon, Tarra Hauser, Kayley Kovac, Jacob Lamm, Isaac Lewis, Mikaela Meyer, Allison Meyers, Nikki Roberts, Bailey Sanders, Andrew Schmidt, Antonia Spinelli, Joseph Stevens II, Adam Valvo, Justin Vasas, Hannah Grace Wirfel

These graduates' employment areas include Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber, Drayer, Fyzical, True Sports, UPMC, United Physical Therapy, Ivy Rehab, and Pivot/Athletico, just to name a few

The program graduated its first MPT cohort in 2000 and its first DPT cohort in 2006. It has a strong tradition of producing physical therapists who provide evidence-based care with compassion and professionalism.

Our Physical Therapy Program offers two pathways to the DPT degree:

  • Accelerated 3+3 option, earning a B.S. in Health Science or Exercise Physiology and a DPT in only six years
  • Traditional 4+3 option
