The holiday season is the ideal moment to reflect on the importance of giving back. This year, we invite you to join us in supporting some truly inspiring organizations that are making a profound difference in the lives of individuals and communities around the globe.
As you gather with friends and family to celebrate, consider extending your generosity to these remarkable charities that offer a broad range of life-changing services. Each organization highlighted is one of the 86 employee-nominated nonprofits supported by AppLovin Cares in 2024.
Founded by Clara Barton in 1881, the Red Cross is dedicated to alleviating human suffering. In times of crisis, it steps up with immediate relief. Through our partnership, we've been able to support their mission to provide critical resources-like shelter, food, and emergency aid-during disasters around the globe.
This year, we supported their response to severe flooding in Spain, helping families and communities recover and rebuild. Our contributions helped fuel these life-saving efforts, ensuring a swift response to both local emergencies and global crises.
Less than one percent of the US population has access to legal help when they need it. Open Door Legal aims to change that, building the country's first system to provide universal access to legal help and working to show that poverty will be dramatically reduced when everyone has access to the law.
In 2024, AppLovin Cares funded 72 civil cases, making legal assistance entirely free for low-income San Franciscans. This support has been instrumental in expanding access to healthcare, mental health resources, and social services for vulnerable individuals and families, helping create a healthier, more resilient community.
La Casa de las Madres is committed to preventing domestic abuse and protecting its victims. The organization provides 24/7 support to women, teens, and children, offering access, service, and tools - and has responded to over 37,000 calls for help since 2020.
AppLovin Cares sponsored their RedHot for Change annual gala, a key event that raises vital funds for their work. Our support has also helped them bring safe relationship education into schools, empowering young people with the knowledge to build healthy relationships. Our donated laptops have also empowered their clients with essential tools for education, job searching, and rebuilding their independence.
From saving lives to creating opportunities, our newest partners enrich our communities through a variety of activities. We invite you to learn more about these organizations we have recently begun supporting:
The UNCF is America's largest and most comprehensive minority education program, empowering more than 12,000 students to get "to and through" college every year. The organization invests in the future by working with its 37 member historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) to provide students with the college education they deserve.
The Pollen Initiative strives for a unique mission: to equip incarcerated people nationwide with rehabilitative experience, including written, audio and visual journalism skills to share stories that change lives, inform policy and build communities. From its humble start as the San Quentin News, the Pollen Initiative is now expanding its model and aims to build media centers in facilities across the country.
Founded in 1989, the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley (HFSV) empowers the lives and futures of Latinos in Silicon Valley through philanthropy, investment in education, leadership development, and engagement of the region's dynamic Hispanic community. The foundation brings together thought leaders, corporate supporters, and inspiring on-the-ground advocates dedicated to improving the lives and futures of Latinos in the region.
This year, we've continued to support inspiring local and global organizations, including:
AppLovin Cares is our corporate charity program, created to support and uplift the communities where we work and live. We do this through a number of activities, from matching employee donations to partnering with local and global organizations that save lives or have a significant impact on the people around us.
We're grateful for all we were able to do in 2024, and we'll continue to give back in 2025. With the hope that the new year brings, it will also bring new opportunities and challenges. We'll continue to offer support where it's most needed, with causes and organizations that will positively impact our communities and our world.
