Legal Files Software, Inc. today announced that the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners has adopted the company's Legal Files software as its new case and matter management solution. The Board joins a range of governmental entities-including federal, tribal, state, county and municipal governmental departments-that have selected Legal Files to streamline legal and investigative operations and improve workflow management.
Before implementing Legal Files, the Board relied on a case management system that proved to be very limiting. Steven Mullins, the Board's Executive Director, explained that the previous system couldn't accommodate the depth and detail of the Board's legal work. "Since we track a multitude of matter types, we needed a program that could manage different workflows and reports, track compliance and handle licensure files-while keeping everything as organized as we require," he said.
The Board is now using Legal Files' portal feature to give expert witness physicians and outside counsel access to specific cases and files for review and feedback. Mullins said. "Legal Files makes collaboration more efficient by providing secure and easy access to designated files for each expert or outside counsel, streamlining operations for both them and us, especially when working on shared files."
