Augusta Transit Offering Free Rides on Election Day, November 5th

[AUGUSTA, GA, November 1, 2024] - Augusta Transit will offer FREE rides all day on any bus route for you to exercise your right to vote in Richmond County, conduct grocery shopping, attend medical appointments or simply enjoy the ride. All Augusta Transit buses accommodate persons with a disability who require special accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

For persons with a disability who require additional assistance and door-to-door transit service please call (706) 821-1819 to determine eligibility and arrange your transportation with Augusta Transit. Reservations must be received no later than Monday, November 4, 2024, by 5pm. Same day reservations for travel on the same day will not be accepted.

For persons living in the Blythe and McBean communities you can reserve a ride with Richmond Transit. Call (706) 821-1497 to determine eligibility and arrange your transportation with Richmond Transit. Reservations must be received no later than Monday, November 4, 2024, by 5pm. Same day reservations for travel on the same day will not be accepted.
