Statement by NYU Spokesperson John Beckman on Recent Social Media Post

"NYU condemns the glorification of violence contained in a recent social media post from the so-called Gallatin PSC. Gallatin PSC is not a recognized or official campus organization. We are investigating this matter. If NYU community members are engaged in activities that violate University rules, they can and will be held accountable. The University has a zero-tolerance policy towards violence and threats of violence, and a firm commitment to fostering a campus culture that is free from intimidation, discrimination, or harassment."
