Update on Street Projects

City staff provides an update on 2024 street projects:

Northwest Inlays

Work has started on parts of Reed Street with local access. Paving of the street on Spencer should start on July 1st and be completed by July 4th, dependent on weather. When Spencer Street paving is complete and reopened, Reed Street will then close to traffic.

4^th Avenue Reconstruction

Paving on 4th Avenue from the surgical center up the hill will start the week of July 15th. Sidewalks and drives will be paved afterwards.

Park Street

The stretch of Park Street between 5th and 6th Avenues will be reconstructed in 2024. The start date isn't official, but is estimated to be mid-July. This effort will include new water main, sewer replacement, and a drop-off for the daycare. The street will reopen later this fall.

2024 Streets Project

7th Avenue paving is occurring the week of June 24th, drives and walks will follow this effort.

The alley between 4th and 5th Avenues (west of West Street) and 2nd Avenue between East and High Streets should be completed by July 1st.
