Notice of Intent to Amend and Issue Upland Mining Leases near Fairbanks, Alaska

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land & Water (DMLW) is giving notice that they have received requests to convert the following leasehold locations and mining claims, located on State of Alaska land into upland mining leases or add to active upland mining leases, under AS 38.05.205(a) and 11 AAC 86.305.

Holder: Felix Gold Alaska Treasure Creek Inc., 3133 Davis Road, Fairbanks AK 99709 is requesting two upland leases: Upland Mining Lease ADL 422377 made of leasehold locations ADLs 733349 through 733352 (TCP 015- TCP 018) and ADL 733361 (TCP 027); located in Fairbanks Meridian, Township 2 North 1 West Sections 6 and 8, and

Upland Mining Lease ADL 422376 made of leasehold locations ADLs 801791 (TCP 209); 801792 (TCP 210) and 741362 (TCP 211) in Fairbanks Meridian, Township 2 North 1 West Sections 18 and 19.

Holder: Goldstone Resources, LLC., 703-18th St, Snohomish, WA 98290 is requesting to amend lease ADL 421636 to include mining claims and leasehold locations ADL 617707 (OWL 194), ADL 709720 (OWL 700); ADL 728439(OWL 702), ADL 729610 (Gold 011), ADL 733202 (OWL 183), ADL 617706 (OWL 184) located in Fairbanks Meridian, Township 2 North 1 West Sections 07, 18, and 19.

Mining lessees have the exclusive right of possession and extraction of locatable minerals subject to AS 38.05.185 - 38.05.275. Leases are issued for the term it takes to mine and are renewable if necessary. The lease will require mandatory rent and production royalty requirements. Once the lease is issued, the lessee must obtain all required permits before exploration or mining can occur. A copy of the Mining Lease Application and the draft Upland Mining Lease may be obtained from DMLW using the contact information provided below.
