Cassidy Announces $13.5 Million for South Louisiana in Hurricane Laura, Ida Relief

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) announced Louisiana will receive $13,491,123.64 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Hurricanes Laura and Ida relief.

"In the years following Hurricanes Laura and Ida, South Louisiana families have shown their resiliency," said Dr. Cassidy. "This funding will help our communities continue to rebuild and recover."

Grant Awarded Recipient Project Description
$3,262,493.76 Calcasieu Parish Police Jury This grant will provide federal funding for permanent repairs as a result of Hurricane Laura.
$1,135,800.00 Office of Risk Management This grant will provide federal funding for permanent work as a result of Hurricane Ida.
$6,509,261.25 Louisiana Children's Medical Center This grant will provide federal funding for permanent roof repairs as a result of Hurricane Ida.
$1,270,731.88 Lafourche Parish Fire District #3 This grant will provide federal funding for permanent repairs as a result of Hurricane Ida.
$1,312,836.75 Office of Risk Management This grant will provide federal funding for permanent repairs as a result of Hurricane Ida.
