Suspect Wanted For Theft

New Orleans Police are asking the public's assistance with locating a suspect wanted for theft, identity theft, and illegal transmission of monetary funds.

Wanted is Darrell Michael Smith (pictured), Black male, DOB 09/21/1964.

According to investigators, around 1:53 p.m. on November 1, 2024 in the 200 block of Bourbon Street Darrell Michael Smith stole the victim's wallet. He then made several unauthorized transactions using the victim's stolen credit/access card.
