Omaha Police Chief Todd Schmaderer, one of the longest-serving major city police chiefs in the United States, announced the release of his book, *Synergy of Influence* on Monday.

With 12 years of leadership at the helm of the Omaha Police Department (OPD), Chief Schmaderer has overseen the police department through some of the most significant and challenging events in the city's history.
