City of Valdosta Main Street Invites Community to Vote for Christmas Parade Theme

The City of Valdosta Main Street division is excited to announce that voting is now open for this year's Christmas Parade theme! In a festive twist, we're celebrating "Christmas in July" and inviting the community to help decide the theme for our beloved annual parade.

We have three magical themes to choose from:

• Christmas in Toyland
• Northpole Christmas
• A Georgia Christmas

To cast your vote, simply like your favorite theme on our Facebook and Instagram pages or visit tinyurl.com/2024VLDParade. Voting closes on July 28, 2024. Don't miss this opportunity to make your voice heard and help shape one of Valdosta's most cherished traditions.

Main Street Manager Kym Hughes shared her excitement, saying, "Gearing up for community participation, interactive voting is an exciting way to choose our Christmas Parade theme. This will get the competition going early enough to give people time to get their parade float plans started as well as for teams to rally support. Everyone is invited to be a part of the Valdosta Christmas Parade tradition."
