The President Inspected the Reconstruction of Damaged Housing in the Kharkiv Region

During his working visit to the Kharkiv region, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the town of Derhachi, inspected the reconstructed apartment buildings and talked with the residents.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported to the Head of State that 18 houses with 250 apartments were rebuilt last year, and people were provided with shelters that had not been available before. In particular, communications were installed, a facade was restored, and public areas were arranged.

Also, the restoration of the local outpatient clinic is underway and is expected to be completed this October.

In addition, Oleh Syniehubov presented a project on the construction of underground blocks in the regional hospital, where it is planned to set up operating rooms. According to him, a total of 70 projects on housing and hospital reconstruction are currently being implemented in the Kharkiv region. They are part of the Regional Program for Restoration, Development and Maintenance of Life Support Systems in the Kharkiv Region for the Period of Martial Law in Ukraine. These projects are financed by the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

During the conversation with the President, people thanked him for the assistance in the restoration of their homes and expressed hope for the implementation of projects that would help Ukrainians return home.
