Park of the Week: Pelly Park

Pelly Park at 900 S. Main Street is a medium-sized city park located within the historic Pelly community. The park offers plenty of fun for kids with a playground full of climbing structures, slides, and swings as well as the Pelly Splash Park. A recreational basketball court and backstop are located within the park so visitors can enjoy a game with friends. For those looking for a place to exercise, this park has a fitness station with workout equipment and a paved sidewalk around the park provides space for a walk or run around the park. Take lunch at any one of the park benches or gather with family and friends at the public pavilion.
