One Week Later, Will Buckout Speak Out

One entire week without even a comment.
Where is Laurie Buckhout?

Let's recap. In the week since CNN's story detailing Mark Robinson's unacceptable actions broke, Laurie Buckhout has refused requests to comment, stayed silent on calls for Robinson to drop out of the race, and refused to request a refund for the over $17,000 she and her husband donated to Robinson's campaigns.

Instead of speaking out and condemning Robinson, Buckhout panicked and deleted at least nine separate photos of herself with Robinson, including a post praising him as "North Carolina's next governor."

One week later though, and the Robinson scandal continues to grow. His campaign continues to hemorrhage staff, but Mark Robinson apparently still has yet to lose the support of Laurie Buckhout.

Voters deserve to know how Buckhout can still possibly believe Robinson is fit to serve. Quite frankly, Buckhout's cowardice and refusal to address such an obvious scandal is deeply insulting to North Carolinians.
