THIRTY-FIVE MAJOR MUSIC ACTS HEADLINE THE TBAAL RIVERFRONT JAZZ FESTIVAL

DALLAS - The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL) is producing one of Dallas' largest 3-day music festivals on Labor Day Weekend, Friday, August 30 through Sunday, September 1, 2024, in the heart of downtown at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, 1309 Canton Street, Dallas, TX 75201.

Opening night will kick-off "Jammin' New Orleans Style" with a performance by 5x Grammy award-winning artist, Ceelo Green and the Dallas Second Line Jazz Band.

The festival major lineup will also include: The String Queens, Fantastic Negrito, Norman Brown, Maysa, Stokley, Jeffrey Osborne, Ginuwine, Rudy Love and The Encore featuring Robert Trusco, Stanley Jordan, Cassandra Wilson, Take 6, Natural Change, Down To The Bone, Patrice Rushen, Sheila E., Tower Of Power, FOUR BROTHERS ON BASS featuring AJ Brown, Walter Hamilton, TAJ, Braylon Lacy, and Members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra featuring Ruben Studdard with Guest Conductor, John Mclaughlin. Additionally, twenty Dallas' based artists will tribute our greatest women and men jazz singers and twenty-seven young performing artists will perform on the Dallas Mavericks Promising Young Artists Stage.

"We're excited to present to festival goers some of the greatest music artists on today's scene" said Curtis King, the festival creator and producer. "Rarely do we see a plethora of this caliber of musical talent from the young to the legendary in one setting, on one weekend for an affordable price."
