State Route 4 - Connector Ramp & Lane Closures

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

State Route 4

Overnight, full connector ramp closures from eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway to northbound I-5 for utility work beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Long-term, one-way traffic control from Roberts Island Road to Cordes Ranch Road for Garwood (San Joaquin River) Bridge repairs beginning Monday, July 22, through September 30, 2024. Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.

Overnight, full on-ramp closures at Center Street, El Dorado Street, Stanislaus Street, and Wilson Way for K-rail installation and utility work beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (eastbound) and 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (westbound.)

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Manteca Bypass To County Line

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

Overnight, full connector ramp closures from southbound I-5 to eastbound SR-120/Manteca Bypass for sign work beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m.

Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) in Lodi for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

Overnight, alternating lane closures from Stockton Street on SR-12/Kettleman Lane to Cluff Avenue on SR-12/Victor Road for traffic signal work beginning Tuesday, September 3, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 99 - Connector Ramp & Ramp Closures
Overnight Ramp Closures In Manteca, Stockton And Lodi

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

Overnight, full connector ramp closures from northbound SR-99 to westbound SR-120/Manteca Bypass for bridge work beginning Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

Overnight, full connector ramp closures from northbound SR-99 to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for paving work beginning Thursday, September 5, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on northbound and southbound SR-99 at SR-12/Kettleman Lane for traffic signal work beginning Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m.

  • Detour: Motorists are advised to use either Harney Lane or SR-12/Victor Road for access to SR-99 during these SR-12/Kettleman Lane ramp closures.

State Route 120 - Connector Ramp & Lane Closures
Overnight Ramp And Lane Closures In Manteca

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 120 (SR-120) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

Overnight, full connector ramp closures from eastbound SR-120/Yosemite Avenue to northbound SR-99 for bridge and survey work beginning Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

Overnight, alternating lane closures on SR-120/Manteca Bypass from Yosemite Avenue to Spreckels Road for bridge work beginning Wednesday, September 4, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. (westbound) and from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (eastbound.)

State Route 132 - Connector Ramp Closures
Ramp Closures At Interstate 5 Near Vernalis

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 132 (SR-132) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

Full connector ramp closures from eastbound SR-132 to northbound and southbound I-5 and from westbound SR-132 to southbound I-5 for bridge work on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Overnight Ramp Closures For Pavement Work

San Joaquin County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate (I-580) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for paving operations beginning Thursday, September 5, through Friday, September 6, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

All work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
