Republican Chairman Condemns Democrats for "Undemocratic" Anointment of Kamala Harris
Warwick, RI - Republican Party of Rhode Island Chairman Joe Powers released the following statement criticizing the Democrats' undemocratic process of anointing Kamala Harris:
"The actions of the Democratic Party are deeply troubling and un-American," stated Powers. "Vice President Harris, who did not participate in any primary elections, is attempting to seize power without the mandate of the people. This is an affront to our democratic principles, and their hypocrisy is on full display. Their actions have disenfranchised millions of primary voters.
"Moreover, Harris's role in hiding President Biden's cognitive decline is a serious betrayal of public trust. The American people deserve leaders who are honest and transparent."
