21st Street Sewer Upgrades Construction Updates 7/3/24

On Monday, July 8, Ogden City will begin a project to upsize the main sewer line along 21st Street, between Washington Boulevard and Wall Avenue. Crews will remove the existing 20-inch pipe, and replace it with a new 24-inch pipe. In addition, the project includes upsizing a piece of the sewer line on Pingree Avenue between 21st Street and 22nd Street. This section is currently 8-inch pipe, that will be replaced with new 12-inch pipe. This project will increase the capacity of the sewer lines in this area, in order to keep up with City growth. We anticipate closing the work zone in segments, one block at a time, to accommodate construction activities. Detours will be intermittently in place from the start of the project through late-October. Local traffic access will be maintained where needed.
