Two Fatally Shot Outside Of Home On Fields Drive Sunday Morning

Homicide detectives are investigating Sunday's 4 a.m. fatal shooting on Fields Drive that killed two men, one of which is believed to be the gunman responsible for the other's death. Witnesses reported a verbal altercation ensued during a party when Steven Gutierrez, 41, who lives at the home, shoved a 19-year-old man.

The 19-year-old then pulled a gun from his waistband and shot Gutierrez multiple times.

Gutierrez was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.

The 19-year-old, who fled the scene with his group of friends, was dropped off at Summit Medical Center with a single gunshot wound. He died shortly after arriving. Efforts are underway to notify his next of kin.

The investigation into how the 19-year-old was shot is continuing.
