Road Closure For Culvert Replacement On Reservoir Canyon Road In San Luis Obispo
The County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works will temporarily close Reservoir Canyon Road during working hours approximately 0.05 miles south of Highway 101 for a culvert replacement on October 29, through October 30, 2024.
Reservoir Canyon Road will be closed approximately 0.05 miles south of Highway 101 to all vehicular use from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please refer to map for location.
This culvert is among 4,950+ culverts in San Luis Obispo County. A recent inspection found deficiencies with the culvert, requiring replacement.
Reservoir Canyon Road will be open outside of the 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. working hours during the replacement work.
Two more days will be required to finish the work October 31, through November 1, 2024. The road will be open the final two days, but for the safety of the public and the workers, traffic will be reduced to one-way controls with flaggers. Delays are expected to be up to 20 minutes. Motorists are advised to adjust their travel plans in consideration of the delays.
