GBI Arrests 3 Following Toccoa Shooting Investigation

One man remains at large

Toccoa, GA (July 2, 2024) - The GBI has arrested and charged Zatorian Y'Deetris Lacy, age 21, of Toccoa, GA, with misdemeanor obstruction and disorderly conduct, Christopher Rentrell Lacy, age 28, of Toccoa, GA, with false statements, and Shane Ladarious Lacy, age 20, of Toccoa, GA, with false statements. Agents have taken warrants for Larquavious De'Shyne "Shyne" Colbert, age 22, of Toccoa, GA, for aggravated assault, aggravated battery and discharge of a gun near a public highway. Colbert is wanted by law enforcement.

The Toccoa Police Department asked the GBI to assist in a shooting investigation on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at about 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday afternoon, Toccoa Police Officers responded to the Stephens County hospital in reference to a shooting victim. The victim was later taken to another hospital where he is currently being treated.

The investigation revealed that the victim was shot at a home on West Whitman Street after an argument.
