Washington, D.C. - Yesterday, Congresswoman Carol Miller (R-WV) spoke at the 99th Annual West Virginia State Fair and received a 2024 West Virginia Women in Agriculture Award from the state's Department of Agriculture for her contributions to the industry.
"I am thankful to have received the 2024 West Virginia Women in Agriculture Award at the West Virginia State Fair. Agriculture helps strengthen our state's economy and environment in many ways. It's an industry that's full of many rewarding opportunities and diligent workers. Operating my family farm has taught me so much and has played a big role in how I have considered legislation during my political career. I am grateful for this experience, and I will continue to look out for West Virginia farmers and agriculture," said Congresswoman Miller.
