Storm Bert Update - 12:45pm, Sunday 24 November.
CCBC continues to receive reports of flooding throughout the county borough and our staff are working hard providing support and assistance across multiple locations.
Cllr Sean Morgan, Leader of Council said, "The significant rainfall over the weekend has led to flooding problems across the region and we are deploying our resources around the clock to support the community. We are obviously prioritising emergency situations and our crews are also targeting blocked culverts, flooded properties, road closures and fallen trees."
"I would like to thank all the dedicated staff who are working in difficult conditions to assist the community as we respond to this storm event."
Some schools are also likely to impacted and Head Teachers will be communicating to parents if a decision is made to close tomorrow due to any flooding issues.
Residents are urged to remain vigilant and keep up to date with the latest flooding alerts and advice.

We are aware of flooding incidents across the county borough and our teams are working around the clock responding to incidents and providing support as required.
