Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Research on Psychological Health in Persons Living with Spinal Cord Injury

Researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) are conducting a research project to understand the effects of an 8-week videoconferencing acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) program on psychological health in persons living with a traumatic or non-traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI).

You may be eligible for this research if you are:

  • An adult with SCI

Participation includes:

  • Completion of 8 weekly videoconferencing ACT sessions with a coach
  • Completion of questionnaires three times

Participants who complete the study will be compensated up to $245.
