Hope Valley Barracks

At 8:35 AM, Troopers arrested Gilbert E. Melo Ledesma, age 25 of 441 Sharon Street, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Limited Extradition Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Domestic Felony Assault originating out of the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office, 2.) Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Simple Assault originating out of the Providence Police Department, 3.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Conspiracy originating out of the Providence Police Department, 4.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Attorney General Request - on the original charge of Manufacturing/Delivery/Possession with Intent to Deliver originating out of the North Providence Police Department, 5.) Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Attorney General Request - 9 on the original charge of Domestic Felony Assault originating out of the North Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a 24-hour Domestic Violence rule BOLO from Providence Police Department and Troopers locating the subject at 34 Boston Street, Coventry, Rhode Island. Melo Ledesma was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.

At 1:51 AM, Troopers arrested Michael P. Varrecchione, age 59, of 565 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Fraudulent Checks - Under $1500 originating out of the Jamestown Police Department. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the Town of Richmond. Varrecchione was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Jamestown Police Department.

At 1:55 AM, Troopers arrested Michael G. DePasquale, age 37, of 89 Sodom Trail, Exeter, Rhode Island for 1.) Thirty (30) Counts of Large Capacity Feeding Devices Prohibited; 2.) Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was a result of a Troopers responding to 89 Sodom Trail in the Town of Exeter for the report of a subject who fired a firearm in the basement of the residence. DePasquale was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Fourth District Court.
