King City is a small, disadvantaged community in Monterey County. With funding from HCD's Community Development Block Grant program, King City was able to invest in their community, helping them improve infrastructure and safety and support their younger generation.<_o3a_p>

For fifty years, CDBG, with funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, has helped communities throughout the nation thrive.
