HILLSBORO, N.D. - Becker's Health Review has named Jac McTaggart, CEO of Sanford Mayville and Sanford Hillsboro Medical Centers, to the 2024 edition of its "90 critical access hospital CEO's to know." This annual list recognizes leaders who excel in expanding services, recruiting and retaining top providers and building key partnerships to ensure their hospitals remain vital to their communities.
Under McTaggart's leadership, Sanford Mayville Medical Center was recognized as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by the National Rural Health Association in 2024 for the third consecutive year, a prestigious honor that highlights excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.
McTaggart has been with Sanford since 2012, overseeing operations of both Sanford Mayville and Sanford Hillsboro Medical Centers since 2018. These facilities provide a wide range of essential health care services, including critical care, lab services, long-term care, orthopedic care and rehabilitation. His dedication to improving patient outcomes and providing high-quality care has been instrumental in the continued success of both medical centers, ensuring they remain vital health care providers for their communities.
