Celebrate this Holiday with the Official 2024 White House Christmas Ornament Honoring President Jimmy Carter

This holiday season, The Home Depot is spreading cheer, once again, with an exclusive must-have collectible. For the first time, the Official 2024 White House Christmas Ornament will be available in stores across Georgia, and will return to select stores in the Washington, DC area and Home Depot's website, homedepot.com.

The annual ornament series honors a president or White House anniversary, celebrating the American story. This year the ornament commemorates 39th President Jimmy Carter, who held office when The Home Depot was founded in 1978. The design, featuring an anchor shape to symbolize President Carter's service in the United States Navy, highlights significant moments from his life and presidency.

"The Navy has played such an integral part in my grandfather's story, as has peace. Both are on perfect display in the 2024 ornament. My grandparents are beautifully represented, and our family hopes you love it as much as we do," shared Jason Carter, grandson of President Carter.

Since 1981, the White House Historical Association has produced the American made ornament in partnership with a veteran-founded company. Ornament sales support the association's non-partisan and non-profit mission to protect, preserve, and provide public access to White House history.

"It is a great honor to offer the Official 2024 White House Christmas Ornament at Home Depot stores for the first time in Georgia," said Stewart McLaurin, president of the White House Historical Association. "This year we pay tribute to President Jimmy Carter's remarkable life and enduring legacy as he continues to be a fixture in our country's ongoing history."
