BNY was recognized for excellence with three awards at the Global Custodian Annual Industry Leaders Awards ceremony. The event, held November 21 at Chelsea Piers in New York City, recognizes outstanding securities services providers and is hosted by the world's leading industry publication dedicated to the international securities services industry.

For the second consecutive year, BNY's Asset Servicing business was honored with an Editors' Choice award in the Fund Services Deal of the Year category, this year taking home the award for the company's deal with BlackRock to diversify Irish ETF administrators. This deal was a huge undertaking for BNY, involving hundreds of employees to manage onboarding transitions from a single provider to a multi-provider platform for depositary and administration services and demonstrated BNY's scale and expertise in servicing ETFs outside of the United States.

Additionally, BNY was presented the North America: Agent Bank of the Year Award based on the results of Global Custodian's Agent Bank surveys which measure client perception of the service received from sub-custodians across major markets, emerging markets and frontier markets.

BNY Pershing Prime Services was also recognized at this year's event, taking home the award for Excellence in Prime Brokerage Operations. This award honors firms based on client feedback reflected in Global Custodian's annual Prime Brokerage Survey.
