The hearing, scheduled for Aug. 6-7 in Washington, is part of the ongoing investigation into why the blowout happened when the jetliner, operated as Alaska Airlines Flight 1282, departed Portland, Oregon, on Jan. 5.
Witnesses will represent the following entities:
